Vietnam issued 100th anniversary presss tamp

Vietnam has launched a commemorative stamp set to mark the 100th anniversary of Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925–2025). The stamps feature the Vietnamese flag, President Ho Chi Minh, and a symbolic pen to honor the nation’s press history. The blue, binary-coded background reflects the country's vision for modern, evolving journalism in the digital era.

Vietnam promotes trade at Kunming fair

Vietnam participated in the 29th Kunming Import and Export Fair in China on June 19, showcasing nearly 70 businesses across 130 booths. The country displayed key products such as seafood, coffee, and wooden goods in an effort to strengthen trade relations and regional connectivity. Vietnam’s clam export hit $37 million in four months

Vietnam earned over $37 million from clam exports from January to April, marking a 44% year-on-year increase. China became the third-largest market, experiencing a 381% surge, followed by Italy and Spain. President Xi Jinping’s visit in April boosted bilateral trade and eased customs for Vietnamese seafood. Vietnam now exports clams to 49 markets backed by sustainability certifications.

Vietnam evacuates citizens from Israel

A total of 37 Vietnamese citizens, including embassy staff and their families, will be evacuated from Israel to Egypt via the Taba border on June 20, announced Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Huy Dung. This evacuation is part of Vietnam’s efforts to protect its citizens amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, and it is coordinated by Vietnam’s embassies in Egypt and Israel.

Vietnam’s universities gain ground in QS rankings

Vietnamese volleyball teams aim for victory at home

The VTV Ferroli Cup 2025 will take place from June 28 to July 5 in the northern province of Vinh Phuc. Eight women’s volleyball teams will compete, including two squads from Vietnam. The total prize pool is nearly $32,000, with $12,000 going to the champion. If either Vietnamese team wins, sponsor Rapido will award an additional $15,700 in gift vouchers to the players and coaches.
